About Me
Dr. Hafsa Hina holds a PhD in Economics from the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), where she has been a dedicated faculty member since 2010. She teaches a range of postgraduate courses, including Econometric Methods, Time Series Analysis, Applied Econometrics, Monetary Economics, Mathematical Economics, and Microeconomic Theory, with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and research-based inquiry. Her research philosophy is rooted in a commitment to policy-relevant inquiry, grounded in rigorous empirical analysis. Her work focuses on macroeconomics, monetary policy, international trade, economic growth, and exchange rate dynamics, aiming to bridge the gap between theory and practice to inform inclusive, evidence-based policymaking, particularly in the context of Pakistan and other developing economies.
