Abida Naurin

Dr. Abida Naurin is the first female to earn a PhD in Econometrics from the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) in 2022. During her doctoral studies, she received research fellowships at Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University (UK), and Istanbul University (Turkey). She has published articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work at several international conferences. Her academic expertise includes theoretical and applied econometrics, with a focus on panel data analysis, structural equation modeling, time series methods, and econometric forecasting. Dr. Naurin’s research is grounded in rigorous quantitative techniques, supporting evidence-based research and policy development.
