Qualification

16 years of education in mass communications, international relations and any other related field

Experience

  • Min 10 years of proven experience in editing & publications management, preferably within a think tank, research institute, or relevant nonprofit organization.
  • Strong understanding of publication landscape.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in publication related tools and other resources.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and audience engagement.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Duration

Initial appointment on Contract for 2 years, extendable on satisfactory performance, till completion of the project.

Duties / Responsibility

  • Oversee the editorial process, ensuring high-quality content, accuracy, and consistency across all publications.
  • Develop and implement publication strategies aligned with the organization's objectives and target audience.
  • Manage the end-to-end publication cycle, including content planning, editing, design coordination, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with researchers, writers, and external contributors to enhance content quality and impact.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve publication formats and outreach.
  • Lead and mentor the editorial team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal publishing standards, including copyright and attribution guidelines.

Duration
