Qualification
PhD preferably in Economics/Public Policy/Project Management from HEC recognized university. Relevant think tank experience may substitute for formal educational requirements.
Experience
- 15 years of experience, with 10 years of demonstrated research experience, and a distinguished track record of serving in the public/private sector preferably with international organizations.
- Experience in setting up new institutions, preferably a Think Tank is desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Must possess leadership qualities, and capable of leading a team of experts with diverse background.
Duration
Initial appointment on Contract for 2 years, extendable on satisfactory performance, till completion of the project.

Duties / Responsibility
- Provide leadership to the Think Tank, aligning all efforts with the organization's overarching vision and mission.
- Oversee the development and execution of impactful research projects, collaborating closely with relevant stakeholders when necessary.
- Lead comprehensive policy analysis and spearhead advocacy initiatives, all within the broader context of CPEC and beyond.
- Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive work environment that nurtures the professional growth and development of the team members.
- Efficiently manage the Think Tank's financial resources to ensure long-term sustainability and continued effectiveness.
- Represent the Think Tank at national and international forums, effectively communicating its insights and findings to a broader audience.
- Establish strong partnerships with national and international think tanks, policy institutes, and academic institutions, forging knowledge alliances to provide robust intellectual support to the CPEC initiative and beyond.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Steering Committee & Research Advisory Committee (RAC), contributing proactively to the organization's overall success and impact.
