Job Title: Web Manager
Job Summary
The Web Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and management of the organization's web presence. This includes managing web content, designing user-friendly interfaces, and ensuring the performance and security of the website.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization’s website(s). Develop and implement web strategies to improve user experience.
- Ensure website functionality, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to update and manage web content
- Manage website analytics and monitor web traffic and performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance for web-related issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for web development services. Stay updated with the latest web technologies and trends to suggest improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree (16 or 18 years) in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field from an HEC-recognised university.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Age: Maximum 40 years
Core Competencies
- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and updating institutional websites and web portals.
- The Web Manager must possess a blend of technical and strategic competencies, including proficiency in web development, content management systems (CMS), SEO, analytics, and cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles with the ability to apply best practices to create user-friendly and responsive websites.
- Strong project management and data-driven decision-making skills to align web initiatives with organizational and business goals.
- Develop and maintain dynamic WordPress websites using JetEngine & Crocoblock, including API integrations and custom development, with strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, React, and database management (MySQL).
- Configure, deploy, and manage Plesk-hosted DigitalOcean servers via SSH.
- Implement and manage media offloading solutions using S3-compatible storage and CDN integration.
- Experience with SEO, web design, UX/UI principles, and responsive design.
