Dr. Zulfiqar Ali has over 22 years of experience in ethnographic research. He is a prolific scholar and author of 17 books; his work bridges anthropology and development, with a focus on cultural heritage, tourism, colonial development, marginalized communities, he teaches courses on anthropology, tourism and development and qualitative research methods, analyzing how cultural practices and community identities intersect with policy frameworks, particularly in the contexts of tourism and cultural heritage..
