The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) invites applications for three (03) Research Assistants for the project:
“Tracer Study for the Evaluation of the Merit and Needs-Based Scholarship Program (MNBSP), Higher Education Commission, Pakistan”
Key Terms of Reference
The Research Assistants will support the research team in the implementation of the tracer study, including:
- Supporting data collection and field research for the study.
- Conducting face-to-face interviews with scholarship beneficiaries and relevant respondents, where required.
- Assisting in the administration of research instruments, questionnaires and interviews.
- Supporting the research team in data compilation, verification, cleaning and documentation.
- Maintaining accurate records of field activities and submitting regular updates to the project team.
- Assisting with other research-related tasks assigned by the Project Lead/Reporting Officer.
Duration
Two (02) months, on an assignment-based engagement.
Eligibility
Candidates with a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies, Statistics, or a related discipline are encouraged to apply.
Preference may be given to candidates with experience in field research, surveys, data collection, interviews and/or quantitative research.
Candidates should be willing and available to undertake fieldwork and travel, where required.
