Air Commodore ® Asif Khan
Air Commodore ® Asif Khan retired from the Pakistan Air Force in 2005 after a very distinguished career. He was involved in prestigious projects like F-16 QA, the ROSE Project, and Australian Mirage recovery in MRF, Kamra. He also held the position Aerospace Attaché at the Pakistan Embassy in Paris.
Presently with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Mr. Khan’s main focus of study has been the effects of Climate Change and global warming, and how best to curb a rising carbon footprint through sustainable development programs.
Mr. Khan feels it is imperative that students across Pakistan, the policymakers of the future, must be made aware of the threat climate change poses for Pakistan and future generations.
