A Zoom meeting was held between Dr. Nadeem-ul-Haque, Vice-Chancellor, PIDE, and Dr.Walid Abdmoulah, Deputy Director General Arab Planning Institute, Kuwait, and his team on March 31, 2022, to discuss areas of cooperation between the two.
The Vice-Chancellor gave a short introduction to PIDE and its work. He stressed that Kuwait and Pakistan have close ties, and both institutions were well-positioned to further these ties. He also spoke on the ever-changing global situation and the out-of-the-box thinking required to face these challenges.
An MoU will be signed shortly, and committees from both institutions will be set up to take the agenda forward.
