Ahsan ul Haq

Dr. Ahsan ul Haq Satti is Director of the Center for Economic Modelling and Data Analytics (CEMDA) at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE). He holds a Ph.D. in Econometrics from the International Islamic University Islamabad and specializes in advanced econometrics, macroeconomic modeling, monetary economics, and policy research. He has taught M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses, supervised over 50 dissertations, and trained policymakers and researchers. His publications address monetary policy, inflation, exchange rates, and fiscal effectiveness. Actively engaged with the Ministry of Planning, he contributes to national reforms, macroeconomic forecasting, and evidence-based policymaking, combining academic rigor with policy relevance.
