A Roadmap for PIDE’s Future

At PIDE, his vision is clear—to transform the institute into a globally recognized policy powerhouse, bridging the gap between research, policymaking, and real-world impact. Under his leadership, PIDE is set to become a leading voice in climate change, digital economy, governance, and inclusive growth. A Policy Lab will be established to provide real-time advisory services to the government, ensuring data-driven, high-impact research shapes Pakistan’s future. Academic programs will be modernized, integrating economics, data science, governance, and sustainability, while global collaborations will strengthen PIDE’s research footprint. A Digital Knowledge Hub will be created to enhance accessibility, and efforts will be made to ensure institutional sustainability through transparent governance and diversified revenue streams.

Under Dr. Javaid’s leadership, PIDE will not just analyze Pakistan’s future—it will actively shape it. With a data-driven, impact-oriented, and globally connected approach, PIDE is set to redefine Pakistan’s policy and economic landscape. The journey ahead is ambitious, but with strategic vision and collective effort, PIDE is poised to become a powerhouse of ideas, policy innovation, and academic excellence—for Pakistan and beyond.

Exciting times ahead!
