Mehwish Mumtaz

Mehwish Mumtaz is Assistant Chief (Policy) at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), where she leads policy research and provides strategic input on national development priorities. With an MPhil in Economics, she brings cross-sector expertise in governance, development planning, and education leadership. Her work emphasizes evidence-based policymaking, inter-institutional coordination, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen public sector outcomes. Mehwish has extensive research exposure at both national and international levels and is committed to advancing impactful, data-driven policy solutions that bridge research and practice.
