Dr. Nadia Hassan is an Assistant Professor at the PIDE School of Economics. She holds a PhD in Economics, specializing in macroeconomic policy, data analytics, and the digital economy. Her academic and research work intersects economic policy and technological transformation, with a strong emphasis on leveraging data-driven approaches to foster sustainable and inclusive growth.
Her research interests include Pakistan’s macroeconomic outlook, focusing on fiscal and monetary dynamics, structural reforms, and external sector vulnerabilities. She is particularly interested in analyzing how digitalization, data ecosystems, and emerging technologies can enhance policy effectiveness and economic resilience in Pakistan. Her work also explores the role of evidence-based policymaking in addressing development challenges and navigating the complexities of a rapidly evolving global economic landscape.
