About Me
Dr. Saba Anwar holds a PhD in Economics from Federal Urdu University, with her dissertation conducted at Cardiff University under an HEC scholarship. In 2022, she was awarded the prestigious Charles Wallace Fellowship. While her early research centered on macroeconomics and fiscal policy, her current work aligns closely with the mandate of the Centre for Energy, Logistics, and Infrastructure (CELI) — focusing on the Internet of Things (IoT), logistics, transport, urban infrastructure, supply chains and energy in transport, alongside rigorous impact evaluations. Her research is guided by a commitment to leveraging digital transformation as a catalyst for efficient infrastructure systems, sustainable mobility, and evidence-based policy reform. Dr. Anwar also teaches graduate-level courses in macroeconomics and supervises research theses, fostering the next generation of policy-oriented economists.
