Dr. Rubina Ilyas is a Research Economist. Her academic background includes Ph.D. in Economics from PIDE, with a specialization in Energy economics. She has conducted empirical research on energy demand estimation, consumer welfare impacts of tariff reforms, rebound effects associated with energy consumption, welfare analysis, and sustainable development. Her analytical approach combines quantitative modeling with sector-specific insights, aimed at supporting evidence based policymaking in the energy sector.
