About Me 

Bilal Aftab is a Staff Economist at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), affiliated with the Macro Policy Lab (MPL). He is currently pursuing his PhD in Economics at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). His work bridges data-driven research and practical policy solutions, driven by the pursuit of sustainable development. His expertise spans energy economics, macroeconomic policy, and international trade, with secondary interests in game theory, health economics, and food economics. He has contributed to impactful policy projects with international development agencies and government planning bodies, employing advanced analytical tools including Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
