The Center for Economic Modelling and Data Analytics (CEMDA) is being established at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Islamabad, to harness the power of data science, modelling, and forecasting for evidence-based policy and research. Our center is envisioned as a pioneering hub for harnessing the transformative potential of data science, modelling, and forecasting. With the rapid expansion of digital economies, artificial intelligence, and big data, Pakistan needs a dedicated platform to turn complex datasets into actionable insights that drive policy and economic growth.
