Introduction

The Center for Industry, Commerce, and Digital Economy (CICDE) at PIDE is a dedicated research and policy hub advancing evidence-based insights to strengthen Pakistan’s industrial competitiveness and productivity, domestic commercial efficiency, and digital and financial transformation. CICDE seeks to address Pakistan’s most pressing economic challenges through rigorous research, proactive stakeholder engagement, and strategic policy dialogue. The center serves as a bridge between research, government, and industry by translating ideas into actionable policy and reform.
