Accessible Infrastructure

  • Free education for disabled students. (100% fee waiver)
  • Ramps and Elevators: campus has ramps and elevators to facilitate easy movement for students with mobility challenges.
  • Accessible Restrooms: PIDE has restrooms with appropriate facilities for individuals with disabilities.

Assistive Technology:

Computer Labs equipped with screen readers, magnifiers, and other assistive technologies to support students with visual impairments or other disabilities.
Technological gadgets/software and facilities to assist visually and hearing impaired students to enable them to caption for videos and multimedia content.

Learning Support Services

Tutoring and Support Programs: We Offer specialized tutoring and support services tailored to the needs of students with disabilities. Extended Exam Time: PIDE allows additional time for exams for students who require it due to their disabilities.
Braille and Large Print Materials: learning materials in alternative formats such as Braille or large print for students with visual impairments is provided.
Accessible Events: Events, seminars, and workshops that are accessible to all students, taking into consideration diverse needs.
