Eligibility Criteria for M.Phil Public Policy

Minimum high second division or B grade in Masters/4 years BS (16 years of formal education) is required. A minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0 (semester system) or 2nd Division (annual system) in Masters or 4 years Bachelor Degree in relevant fields from a recognized university in any discipline.

Applicants with a first division/A grade or relevant experience will be given preference.

Structure of the Program

A comprehensive coursework, practical exercises and field work will equip the students with the toolkit necessary to not only understand policy problems but solve them as well. This would be a two year (45 credit hours) program. The course work would include 8 core courses (7 courses of 3 credit hours and 1 course of 1.5 credit hours), 5 electives (1.5 credit hour each), and a thesis (15 credit hours). The students would be expected to complete the course work in 3 semesters. They will be required to devote the 4th semester to undertaking a dissertation under the supervision of the PSSP’s faculty.
